Taunggyi Technological University

Welcome to Technological Universisty (Taunggyi)

Technological University (Taunggyi) is situated in Ayetharyar Township,Taunggyi District, at the Southern Shan State. The area is 85.482 acres wide. This University is first based on Government Technical Institute(Ayetharyar), in August 1992. Then it was upgraded to Government Technological College since December 1999. And again it was upgraded to Technological University again, in 20th , January 2007.        Objectives (i)    To have equitable development of all States and Divisions and to narrow the differences the rich and   poor around the country. (ii)    To develop all sectors to enable the Nation to catch out with the international community. (iii)    To gain higher technological education and to get the opportunity for easy access to higher technical education.
