The History of Technological University (Hinthada)
Technological University (Hinthada) started as Technical High School (T.H.S) on the 1st August,1977. It was located in land block No.(202),Kayin Kyaung Street,south of Tar Ngar Sge Quater,Hinthada Township,Hinthada District,Ayeyarwady Division. The area was about 5.3462 acres. It was promoted to Government Technical Institute(G.T.I) on 20 Dec 1982. And then, it was again up to Government Technological College (G.T.C). The College was moved to the present University on 21, April, 2003.
The new Technological University is opened at 20th Jan,2007 and it was situated in Chindwin coconut garden land,near Hinthada-Pathein railway,Nat Maw village Tract and Kyonephar Village Tract,Hinthada Township,Hinthada District,Ayeyarwady Division. The new university area is about 59.54 acres.
Objectives
(a)To train the essential qualified engineers in building of a peaceful , and modem developed nation.
(b)To carry out works of research contributed to the good of nation. (c)To train and produce human resources required for nation , having the right equally in learning technology for the all youths of nation and decreasing the differences in mainland , state , urban and rural areas. (d)To teach widely changing technology with modernization , keeping up the times. |
